What is the Sephora Savings Event?
Sephora runs multiple sales throughout the year. But, the Sephora Savings Event also known as the Sephora VIB sale is the most anticipated sale of the year. This is the sale where Sephora really rewards its most loyal customers.
They run a few different versions of the sale throughout the year and It is exclusive to Sephora’s Beauty Insiders.
But what is a Beauty Insider you may ask?
A beauty insider is a member of Sephora’s loyalty program known as the Beauty Insider program. This is how Sephora rewards you for being a loyal customer. It is free to join.
How to Become a Sephora Beauty Insider.
Becoming a Beauty Insider is easy. All you do is go to Sephora and sign up.
Upon signing up you automatically get awarded the Beauty Insider status. And as a Beauty Insider, you can start enjoying the perks of the program right away.
To make it to the next tier, you need to spend at least $350 on products during the year. That automatically promotes you to VIB status.
Once you spend $1000 or more throughout the year, you now get awarded the highest most prestigious tier, Rouge.
Now, how many times a year does Sephora have sales?
Sephora has multiple sales throughout the year. The bigger sales to look forward to are:
The Sephora VIB sale (Spring Savings Event). It usually happens at the beginning of April.
The Sephora VIB Sale (summer bonus event) which takes place in August. This sale is an incentive for Rouge and VIB members only.
The Sephora VIB Sale (Holiday Savings Event). This sale usually starts in late October to early November.
When the Sephora Savings Event sales come around, Beauty Insiders save 10% to 20% depending on their tier.
Let’s break down the Beauty Insider Tiers Savings.
Beauty Insiders saves 10%.
VIB members save 15%.
Rouge members save 20%. They get access to the sale a few days before everyone else.
All tiers save 30% on the Sephora collection.
Other Sephora Sale dates to look forward to.
The Skincare sale. This sale happens in January and you can take up to 50% off your favorite skincare products. However, you need to act quickly because each brand (product) goes on sale for 1 day only.
Some brands to look forward to are Lancôme, Etée Lauder, Jlo Beauty, Sunday Riley, etc.
Sephora Oh Hair yeah! Spring Sale in May. This sale is a great opportunity to save up to 50% on your favorite hair care products. Just like the Skincare sale, you need to act fast because each brand (product) only goes on sale for one day.
The Sephora Oh Snap! Sale, the fall version of the spring Savings Event. It typically happens towards the end of August.
The Sephora Black Friday Sale. This sale is usually available to everyone regardless of your membership status. It runs from Black Friday to Cyber Monday.
The January Skincare sale and May Oh Hair Yeah! sale is Sephora’s way of competing with Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty Event.
You may be wondering when is the next Sephora sale 2024.
The next Sephora sale in 2024 is going to be Sephora VIB sale (Springs Savings Event) 2024. It is set to begin on April 5th to end on April 15th, 2024.
Rouge members will get early access. They can start shopping as early as April 5th. VIB and Beauty Insiders will get access to the sale starting April 9th.
When shopping online, the Sephora sale code is YAYSAVE. You may use the code as many times as you’d like during the sale to save on your purchases during checkout.

Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Contour Skinstick. One of the best contour sticks I’ve used. It has a wide range of shades, is lightweight, buildable, and easy to blend. it doesn’t get any better.
Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Makeup Setting Spray. This setting spray does a great job of keeping your makeup intact for a long time. I love that it is oily girl-friendly.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. This setting powder is a must-have. It is easy to apply. It blends well and does a great job of keeping the oils from surfacing.
Sephora Lip Gloss. Sephora offers a wide range of lip glosses with an extensive shade range. They are easy to apply and feel good on the lips. All you have to do is pick your favorites.
Ilia Beauty Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara. If you have yet experienced this mascara, I suggest you give it a try. It will change your life (your lash life). I’ve never used a lengthening mascara that gave me better results than this one with very little effort. Bonus point that it is a clean mascara.
Urban Decay Quickie 24HR Full-Coverage Waterproof Concealer. This is a full-coverage concealer that doesn’t feel heavy on your skin. The finish is so beautiful. I fell in love with it at first application.
Sephora sale picks Fragrance.
Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Brazilian Bum Bum Jet Set. If you haven’t tried this cult favorite yet. The sale is a great time to do so. This set includes the body spray, bum bum cream, and shower cream gel.
Jo Malone Sakura Cherry Blossom Cologne. This perfume is a light floral fragrance with subtle notes of Bergamot, Cherry Blossom, and Rose Wood. This is the perfect daytime scent.
